AI image upscaler
AI Image Upscaler
Enlarge small photos, screenshots and thumbnails 2x or 4x. The AI adds real detail instead of stretching pixels, so edges stay crisp and text stays readable.
Why use an AI image upscaler?
New detail, not stretched pixels
A regular resize blends existing pixels and the result looks soft. The AI predicts the detail a larger image should have, learned from millions of low- and high-resolution image pairs.
2x or 4x, up to 4096 px
Choose 2x to clean up and moderately enlarge, or 4x to turn a small image into a large one. Results reach up to 4096 pixels on the longest side.
Cleaner at the same time
Noise and JPEG compression artifacts are removed while the image is enlarged, so you don't upscale the flaws along with the photo.
JPG, PNG and WebP
Upload the formats you already have and download a high-quality PNG with no watermark.
What people upscale images for
Prints and posters
Get enough pixels for a sharp print. An 800 × 600 photo at 4x becomes 3200 × 2400, enough for an 8 × 10 in print at 300 PPI.
Wallpapers and presentations
Make small images fill large screens and slides without turning blurry.
Product listings
Enlarge supplier photos so shoppers can zoom in on details.
Screenshots and thumbnails
Rescue small images saved from websites or apps when the original is gone.
Get the most out of upscaling
- 1
Use 4x for small images
If the image is under about 1000 pixels wide and you need it big, 4x gives the largest result. For larger photos, 2x is usually enough.
- 2
Crop before you upscale
Very large photos are scaled down to fit the AI model, so crop to your subject first to keep the most detail where it matters.
- 3
Turn on face enhancement for people
Faces are the first thing people notice in a large print or wallpaper.
