Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of QualityEnhancer at qualityenhancer.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

QualityEnhancer uses AI models to sharpen, denoise and upscale photos you upload. Results are generated automatically and can differ from the real scene: the AI predicts missing detail rather than recovering it exactly. Do not rely on enhanced images where accuracy matters, for example as evidence or for identifying people.

We may improve, change or stop parts of the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person may not create multiple accounts to collect extra free credits.

Your photos and results

• You keep ownership. You retain all rights you have in the photos you upload and in the enhanced results. We claim no ownership of either.
• Permission to process. You give us a limited permission to store, process and transmit your photos and results only to provide the Service to you, including through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
• No training. We do not use your photos or results to train AI models.
• Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo, and that enhancing and using it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Enhancing an image does not give you rights you did not already have; whether you can use a result commercially depends on your rights in the original photo.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to upload, create or share content that:

• Sexualizes minors or depicts child sexual abuse. We report such content to the relevant authorities.
• Is illegal, or infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Depicts a person in an intimate or sexual way without their consent.
• Is used to harass, defraud, impersonate or mislead others.

You also must not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, access it by automated means except as we allow, or get around credit and usage limits.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Credits and payments

• Each photo enhancement uses credits as shown before you start. Currently, each photo costs 1 credit at 2x or 4x.
• New accounts may receive free credits, and signed-in users may receive a small number of free credits each day. Daily free credits expire at the end of the day (UTC) and are used before other credits. Free credits have no cash value.
• Some features, such as batch upload, are available only to accounts that have bought a credit pack.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay, and payments are processed by Stripe.
• Purchased credits do not expire while your account is open. They are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• If an enhancement fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us at support@qualityenhancer.app. We review refund requests for unused credits individually, and any rights you have under consumer protection law are not affected.
• If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may deduct the related credits or suspend the account.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights in it beyond using the Service as offered. The AI models we use are provided under their own licenses.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account ends.

Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know through the website or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
